What strikes me the most about this photo
Is how much my brothers all look like our dad.
In different ways.
Three brothers.
All look different
Yet resemble the same man.

By looking at their feet
We can see who's been inside and who hasn't.
My dad was intrigued by the whole
Cottage industry
But never partook.
Thought it was immoral
And irresponsible
That men would father children to leave behind
To be treated as outcasts.
