"Just like home." my dad wrote on the back. "When a big piece of equipment comes out, the kids are there." This little boy ran out every day and saluted as my dad passed by.
Wow, three hundred hits and change and very few comments.
This photo is ironic to me because: Fast forward to my astral twin JFK Jr. saluting as his father's flag draped coffin rolled by. This is a memory that took over my sixth birthday and his third, I think.
This road had to be graded every day to maintain it...explains a lot...the salute and why my dad loved the chosen land...sears road. you know who you are. if you're there give a shout out.
Hey fellow bloggers.
It started out a little something like this. With the notion that I had something to get out. If we all just wrote a little something every day, perhaps our houses wouldn't have to be made of straw.
We all have incredible stories to tell.
Epics unbelievable to anyone but ourselves.
