A day in the life of Josie Soho

Hello, I am a totally amateur photographer. You would fall over laughing at my camera if you saw it. As far as controlling the photo there is no way till after the fact. It's a point and shoot that doesn't even have a shutoff for the flash. A Minolta that I got at the drugstore for $10.00.

The location of this shot was in the church where my mom's memorial service was held this past October. (Who brings a camera to a funeral?) Anyway, it had been cloudy all day and after her service the sun came streaming through the windows as if her spirit had just entered the chapel. I did some touch up on the colors in this so that could account for the hotness. While shooting I kept thinking people would wonder why the heck I was aiming at the fire extinguisher because the light shadow wasn't that evident at the time. I was quite pleased with the outcome , hope you like it.

I am currently a home daycare provider that blogs like a fiend and makes jewelry. Most of my photography goes onto my blogs. I belong to one international blog -http://web-pix.blogspot.com/ and I have many of my own in which I use art, photos and writing to express myself. I have an Associates Degree in Studio Arts but that's as far as my formal education goes.

Thanks for stopping by and having a look. Your comments are appreciated.

Hope you're having a good day - Josie

Sage, Thanks for your kind comment.
I'm right there with you on that thought.

This is my primary blog- most autobiographical. Web-pix was by invitation and all my other "children" came to me in flights of fancy.

No segue this way, just drop parts of my persona in each appropriate blog!

Thanks for showing me Lake Superior.

Peace, Jz
