Fuzzy impression

This annual was alive last year when my mom was.
Have never seen this plant blossom before.
At the end of the season I couldn't bear to throw it away.
I cut it back hard.
It's rebirth was announced with this bloom last Saturday.
A birthday greeting for my big girl.
Easter's arrived and it's still in bloom.
