This is all...for now

69. I've been a salad girl,restaurant hostess,short order cook, makeup artist, nanny,
pizza girl, waiter, bartender and am now self employed.
70. In two years I will have a new career.
71. I don't know what that career will be.

72. I've lived my life in the same town for over 30 years.

73. My job as a nanny took me to Aspen once,Palm Beach thrice.

74. I went to a party at Donna Karan's beach house.

75. Her best friend Barbra was there.

76. My life leads me to unusual circumstances.
78. Close up glimpses of wealth only reinforces the adage that money doesn't buy everything.

79. I was accepted to fashion design school but didn't attend.
80. I gave myself a mental breakdown once through a poor diet, stress and a broken heart.

81. I became a stronger person for it.
82. I make jewelry.

83. People think of me as perpetually happy. I'm a great actress.
84. Though all my jobs have dealt with the public I'm a loner.

85. I always wanted to be a mother.
86. When I was little I thought my three choices of occupation were, nurse, teacher or secretary.

87. I would have loved to have been a supportive wife to a successful man.

89. I love to entertain.
90. I rarely do anymore.
91. Except for one brother I've housed all of my immediate family, including my parents at one time or another.
92. I went to college by default.
93. Hitchhiking was a fun past time when I was a teenager.

94. I was old enough to read the advertisements for Woodstock but too young to go.

95. Years later I became acquainted with the creater of the Woodstock logo and poster. I don't think he made a dime from it.
96. My favorite place on earth doesn't exist anymore.

97. This land locked girl loves coastal towns.

98. Moody Beach Maine, Montauk LI, Key West Florida, Crystal Pier, Laguna and La Jolla CA are my favorites so far.
99. I could go on.
100.I won't.

Question: Where can one purchase your jewelry?

Wish I could have went with you to Donna Karan's. Did she give you any of her stuff? I'm so jealous!

Heather, right now my jewelry is here. Not featured anywhere yet. Thinking of trying some sort of ebay or crafts sale site.

No, DK did not give me anything. We were there for her son- in -law's birthday party.

Dragged along by a friend. My sister and I were there. She spoke to Babs. I just kept my distance and tried to be cool.

It was an amazing spectacle.

Fully catered on a cobblestone beach two flights down from her two adjoining beach houses.

There were bonfires, torches and about 20 drummers creating music.

Puff daddy's house was across the street. There was some wistful mention among the younger people in the crowd that they wished they'd been invited to the party we could hear over there.

There are two very funny stories to tell about that evening but not in this format.

If we ever get together for a drink my sister and I will share them with you.

Since I felt somewhat of a crasher I was quite pleased to receive a kiss on the cheek and thanks for attending from Donna's daughter at the end of the night.

:-)

That pic is Moody Beach, just up a ways from Ogunquit. Love to go there with you!

YES!!!! I recognize the stairs! Usually, I go at Moody Beach or Wells. Ogunquit Beach is often too crowdy...

Those steps are from the cottage in the painting above. My family vacationed there off and on throughout my life. Unfortunately it was sold and the new owners never rent it out.

It's a gorgeous beach.
