Tulip under my daughter's river birch planted 2001. The year my last baby was born. When I look out the window and see how tall it's grown I can't help but think of her. There are trees and bushes in other gardens to commemorate my other two girls. I've left my mark in numerous places. I hope the world is improved for it.

Beautiful Josie ! I love all the flowers you've shown in this blog, the purple tulip is awesome ! I like the way you think ! My oldest Sister lost her 18 year old Son to a tragic accident who was away in College in 2001 and she planted a tree for him in her backyard but, it is dead now although, the tiny tree that her Son had planted himself in the same yard is still growing so, that is nice ! :)
Oh Sheri,
I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful nephew. The loss of a child is an unspeakable thing. Every parents' worst nightmare. I'm so sorry your family had to endure such an incredible burden.
Since his tree thrives though, I would take it as sign from the other side myself. I hope your sister is able to take some comfort in that tree touched by his hand. oxo Josie
