Jenn See
One thing I learned through my father's death was that the most consoling statement
anyone could make to me as a measure of comfort was, "I'm sorry."
Saying I'm sorry encompasses all the feelings that the bereaved may be experiencing.
Encompasses without trespassing into supposition. Emotes without taking away from the profoundness of the loved one's loss. Comforts while expressing one of the most beautiful sentiments of human emotions - empathy.
While I know I cannot take away any of the feelings of pain that Jenn See's family and loved ones are feeling I hope they can take solace in knowing I will be thinking of them all and that I am truly sorry for their loss.

Yes ~d. It meant the most to me out of anything, anyone said. When my mom died last fall, I still felt the same way. <3
Glad to help.

I just heard about Jenn See's death today, through Clo's blog. I totally agree: "I'm so sorry" is the best thing to say and hear. It's somewhere deep inside where it resonates.
Thank you for the affirmation Ginnie!
