Before and after pruning the bittersweet

I pruned back the bittersweet to allow for a new fence. It looks much neater but I do like the extra privacy the bittersweet afforded me.

Funnily enough the bittersweet was a sign to me that I belonged in this house. I feel strange getting rid of it.

I do have some more on another fence that I'm not replacing so I guess that will have to do.

I never was a scout boy, or even had going to the military service (I have asthma) but by the look of shadow's position you have hard work. I estimate about 2h30minutes.
I'm I right?

Oh, you have good estimating skills.

You're right!

What a chaming place! Now I can picture you where you live. And I LOVE all the fence photos! Too bad you have to replace it. So much charm!

Love it.

Thanks, Ginnie and Erin.
Yes, I think the house is sweet too.
This rusticly charming fence has seen better days so let's hope the new one keeps the house looking adorable.
Glad you enjoyed the pics Ginnie!

Erin, you're sweet for thinking me adorable. Mwah!

Tilde, we belong to the shorty's club. Though I guess between you, me and Erin. I'm the tallest at nearly 5'2".
How funny to be the tallest!

JWOTPC, I am convinced that once osteo-whatever shrink my back is sets in, I will fall below 4'10" and then I can offically be a 'little person'. HAHAHA

I love your work too. :)
House is beautiful!

Thanks, Heather. It's a cute house and not as small as it looks. Two bedrooms up and two bedrooms down. It's coming along.

There's also 1/4 of an acre here. Quite a lot to keep up with. I'll keep plugging away. Good thing I actually enjoy yard work.

I think the new fence will really give the yard a nice definition.

~d, You're funny!
