The anniversary of my mom's death was a bit sad but manageable.

I did my best to make it a happy and positive day. Lots of photography. Lunch with bebe at the very romantic, Cafe Martin in Shelburne Falls and a pretty ride through the country.

The fence installers showed up even though it was Saturday.

Later, a poolside party at my brother and sister - in - law's house and a toast to Mum.

I reminded everyone that our mom would want us to be happy not sad.

A few tears were shed but laughter wasn't too far behind.

All in all a good day.
