Mom's House

My daughter came home yesterday and said the car was driving oddly. Decided to take it over the Coolidge Bridge for a drive to a combo asian store/restauranton the Belchertown side of Amherst that I'd heard about. Mom's House.

I love anything exotic and different. I'll travel ten miles to check out a new international store. Yeah, Noho is that small.

As promised Mom's House was loaded with goodies. I managed to resist the children's bunny bowls and chopsticks but I couldn't pass up two boxes of this candy.

Tastes yucky to me but- love the packaging. Comes with cool hologram trading cards which are really difficult to photograph. Look for these to be added to a collage or atc soon.

Between the packaging, the trading card and Morinaga's cool website I got way more than my 79 cents worth! Even without eating the candy.

While trying to reach Morinaga's website I found this one for The Candy Blog.

Looks like I'll have to go back to Mom's house to search out some tastier candies. Perhaps a bunny bowl or too. Nice to know we can see the world without going too far at times.

The car seemed fine to me.

Thanks for sharing these photos. I would probably do exactly the same thing --buy the candy just to get the pretty packaging! I'll be watching for the hologram cards in your art...

I have a soft spot for asian packaging too, and these are keepers. Enjoy your travels!
