Saturday on the scooter

jo©

My sister and I have a tradition. We ride her scooter about 30 miles through the countryside to go to a hopelessly tacky chinese restaurant she knows in Chicopee.
On our way there we always take a little break in this cemetary that was established in 1868.

I love being on the back of the bike. We pass the Holyoke Range and the Connecticut River on the way there.
It's so delicious to be carefree drinking in the sights and sounds.
I really wish I had a camera in my head then.

What a great place to reflect and relax.
We go back time and time again. There's always something new to find.

Jozee, That's really interesting and nice that you spend time together. My Daughter was telling me today on our walk, how when she was younger she use to go to the Grave Yard and put flowers and little toys {for the children } and things on some of the headstones...she said it was taking care of them.A feeling of compassion.

Sheri, what a thoughtful daughter you have. Interesting she would like to visit cemetaries too. The childrens' graves are always very touching. I can understand her wanting to leave something there.

Yes, it is nice that my sister and I are close. I'm the oldest and she is the youngest. We're eight years apart with four other siblings in between. She and I are the only single ones so we see each other the most.

She's an intense Leo and I'm a somewhat mellow Sag so we seem to balance each other out. ;-)

Randy's mom once left Ericka(his sister) her favorite candy at her grave sight.
She died from CF.
I thought that was a sweet idea.

Jozee, That is funny because, I hang out with my oldest Sister all the time, we go for walks together mostly.I have four Brothers and Two Sisters and she is the oldest Sister.Very interesting ! :) I'm an aries and she's a Libra by the way, incse you were a little curious. I'm married to a Libra as well and she's married to an aries...how weird is that ?!AND...her Husband's Birthday is the same day as mine.

Sisters! Isn't it funny how things work out? Our siblings can have such an impact on relationships we choose later in life.
The fact that your sister's husband has the same birthday is amazing. She's married to your astral twin then.
I love those kinds of coincidence.Happenings like that just keep life so curious and interesting!

Hi Mr Fab, It's a fun tradition!
