Structural memories

Not feeling melancholy. Just happened to walk by the church where my mom was eulogized last October. It's such a beautiful structure and close by. I can visit whenever I want.

I know a 62 year old guy that looks younger than me, and I'm 45 now. I think the secret is sex. Oops, sorry Josie, I think we're in church here...

That's okay Vince. My religion is sex.

So glad the church is that close by. I wish I could visit Mom and Dad's gravesite more than once a year!

Hi Ginnie, both my parents were cremated. So I tend to think of them as just being in the air- all around me.

In the case of the church though it's nice to go and draw strength from something so inspiring and solid.

I know from your blog that your dad was a minister and I believe your mom was the music directer and organist of your church. I know spires have great meaning for you. I'm thinking churches may, as well.

My sister -in- law is the music directer and organist in this Congregational church..
Maybe I should go in some time.

@EotR You have an inspiring portrait. Looking at your profile seems to tell me your paintbrush is your keyboard! I will delve further.

By the way I am shooting with a cell phone cam. It's a toy really. Nothing to fiddle around with too much. My photos are impressions but that's how I like them to be.

Go to my process blog to see my photos in different phases. if you have any questions that I can answer, I'd be glad to help!

Digi cam is easy, just keep shooting. ;-)

Thanks for enjoying.
